KWABA how do I collect my SASSA grant?
Kwaba: You can use your SASSA card at an ATM, a supported shop till or a pay point. Take your ID. Check your pay date with SASSA first.
KWABA how do I teach my child grade 4 multiplication?
Kwaba: Show that multiplying is adding the same number again. 3 x 4 is 3 groups of 4: 4 + 4 + 4 = 12. Then ask your child to try 2 x 5.
KWABA how do I register a small business?
Kwaba: You can register a company with CIPC online or at a CIPC self-service point. You need your ID and a company name. Want the steps?

How to start
SMS your question to 43366.
Start every message with KWABA, like the examples above, even when you reply. Capital or small letters both work.
Never send your ID number, PIN, bank card or account details. Kwaba will never ask for them.
Tip: save 43366 in your contacts as "Kwaba" so it is always easy to find.

Does it cost anything?
Sending your question costs one normal SMS at your network's standard rate. Kwaba's answers are free to receive.
Do I need a smartphone or data?
No. If your phone can send an SMS, it can use Kwaba. There is no app to install and no data needed.
How many questions can I ask a day?
Up to 10 a day, so the service stays open for everyone. The count resets every morning. If you send more, Kwaba sends one SMS to say you have reached the limit.
After that, do not send more that day: Kwaba will not reply, but your network will still charge you for each SMS.
Which languages can I use?
Ask in English, isiZulu, isiXhosa, Sesotho or Afrikaans. Kwaba will answer in the language you write in where it can. English answers are the most reliable.
Does Kwaba remember my earlier messages?
Kwaba uses your last few messages for 24 hours so a chat makes sense. They are deleted from our systems within two days.
Can Kwaba be wrong?
Yes. Kwaba is AI and can make mistakes. Answers are general information, not medical, legal or financial advice. Double-check anything important with an official source.
What should I not send?
Never send your ID number, PIN, bank card or account details. Kwaba will never ask for them. If a message asks for them, it is not from Kwaba.
How do I delete my chat?
SMS KWABA STOP to 43366 and your chat history is deleted from our systems at once.
